It seems that every time I watch a movie and someone leaves their job, they pack up a box and always have a plant sticking out of it. I have no idea how realistic this is but someone VERY special in my life closed one door on a job last week and opened one very refreshing door to another job today... I figured she needed something nice to uplift her new bare desk! It just so happens to be the day before Valentine's Day so of course everything had to be pink :)
This New Start, New Sh*t box I feel can be used for any occasion big or small but just an effort to show someone that you are there for them every step of the way!
So let's look at some of the goodies!
So as you may know, the Target $1 - $5 aisle is Heaven sent! Many of these cute stationery items were found there and the travel mug! The stationery set and plant I found as I wandered through Target as well... you can never leave there empty handed!
I will find any excuse to wander into Paper Source & these Donut Notes "DoughNotes" by Chronicle Books, designed by Hannah Berman were so worth the trip! They even come with a wax envelope to seal the sweetness and can be mailed with their super cute address labels. Such a cool way to pass a note to your coworkers!
One of my favorite artists and stationery designers, Emily McDowell, created this amazing book "There is no good card for this: What to say and do when life is scary, awful, and unfair to people you love" and let me tell you this book is AMAZING! I think this was the perfect way to show my loved one that I'm here for her...and this will actually be the 3rd Year in a row that I used one of her awesome cards for my own Valentine (now fiancé, ahhhh!)
